My name is April Allen. I'm originally from Raleigh, NC. After receiving a BFA in Dance & Music I took off to live in Los Angeles, CA for 13 years before moving back to NC to help take care of my ailing pop. When in LA I became a avid animal rescuer. I ADORE animals and will always do anything that I can to help them. My passion would be the seniors and special needs. When I moved back to NC I came with let's just say a large menagerie of four-legged family members.

Over the past few years, many of my elderly/special needs street rescues crossed the Rainbow Bridge. In 2016, three days before my birthday, my beloved pop went to heaven. As I was so used to spending most of my time caring for them (including my pop), I didn't know what to do with this huge hole in my heart. I had time that I needed to fill as not to dwell on my loss. In honor of the rescues, I decided that I would throw myself in my "hobby" and start a business.

All of my "pet pieces" are named after a rescue either myself or one of my best friends saved. I also have a few "angel" pieces that memorialize my beloved pop and friends who have passed. It's my way of keeping their memories alive.
