In memory of my second rescue, my huge Maine Coon, Hairball.  He lived on the streets of Los Angeles with his siste Hodgepodge.  When happy, he made the loudest purr I've ever heard.  I've never experienced such a grateful rescue.  Even though he had a BB lodged next to his heart he was able to spend his last years joyously inside with his sister and other rescued siblings.
